The Derek's Anna Banana Love Story Saga Continues

You must have seen this video that went viral few months ago of a boy named "Derek" expressing his crush to a classmate named "Anna" on the PLDT DSL commercial.  If not here is the the video.




I can relate to Derek's situation. I had a crush too when I was in first year high school (circa 1976) but was too "torpe" or timid to express my affection to her personally.  So I wrote her a letter and included the typed (using typewritter) lyrics on a perfumed stationery paper of my love song to her "You're in My Heart" by Rod Stewart.  Those days, personal computers where still not in fashion, let alone the Internet, so it was my high tech (that time) version of Derek's rap love video message.

I love also this video of how Derek's mom supported him to get hits for his videos.



Back to the love story again. Now, finally,  the sequels to these videos are out.  The story continues.

The first one, is Anna's video reply to Derek's video message:



It was heart-breaking to watch that video reply from Anna. It reminded me of the rejection that I also got with my first crush. The rejection from your crush really hurts. I felt sorry for Derek.

I love the emotions of this video of the family's concern about the heart-break Derek will be experiencing when he sees the video reply.

Fortunately, it will not be a sad ending.  At the end of the video, there was a new "Anna" that came into the scene who made another video reply to Derek's.

One FC: Pride Of A Nation Official Weigh-In Results

I was at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this August 30, 12 - 1 pm to witness the ONE Fighting Championship™ (ONE FC) Official Weigh-In.  It was open to the public and was attended by the media and fellow bloggers.

The event started with the 2 round girls coming out for photo ops and the public were invited to have a photo ops with them as well.

After the commotion of the photo ops with the beautiful and sexy round girls, the players were called one by one to weigh in and then faced-off with opponent and then posed to the crowd.

All the fighters have made weight and are ready for ONE FC: PRIDE OF A NATION which takes place August 31 evening at SMART ARANETA Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. The entire card, which is headlined by DREAM Bantamweight Champion Bibiano Fernandes and CFC Australia Bantamweight Champion Gustavo Falciroli, will be available live on Pay-Per-View.
